Hey folks. I would like to personally thank you for checking out my new official site. This site offers a close look into my career, what is happening with me, who is in my band, where I will be picking, a place to buy merch and CDs, pictures, the gear I use, and a whole lot more.
In 2010 I toured a while with the great Hal Ketchum, but have now found myself back with my buddy Ron Lutrick to form, "The Blues Connection." Please see the Blues Connection tab on this site for more info.
**When Ron and Johnny are not performing as "The Blues Connection" Ron joins Johnny as his bass player/vocalist along with Stan Saxon on drums for "The Johnny Hiland Band". For those who have been coming to their shows the past few months; you know they are force to be reckoned with!

Johnny is pleased to announce that he has teamed up with keyboardist Tim McDonald to do a "Bringing It To The People Tour". These are house concerts that you can hire the guys to come play in your home or private event. You can have the two guys or if you are wanting a full band experience that is possible too! They have done several events of this nature in the past few months and everyone has a blast. Johnny has officially signed a new record deal with Shrapnel Records as of January 2011. He just returned from Cotati California where he completed his first Shrapnel Record, "All Fired Up". The new project will be released in July of 2011. Johnny is proud to be a part of the Shrapnel Family and he is very greatful to Mr. Mike Varney for such a wonderful opportunity. The new record features Stu Hamm on bass, Jeremy Colson on drums, and Jesse Bradman on keys. The fans will be happy, as it is a fun filled record that showcases Johnny's chicken pickin'. Get ready and stay tuned!
